Third Times the Charm for ‘Marvel Zombies’!

What do you get when you combine the best (or at least most coherent) superhero universe in comics history with a race of mindless, flesh-eating monsters? Duh! Marvel Zombies! This weekend at Wizard World Philadelphia we talked to Marvel talent consultant C.B. Cybulski, who gave us some good news about the popular horror-tinged Marvel series.
“We’re planning on issuing Marvel Zombies 3,” said Cybulski, “which is by Fred Van Lente and Kev Walker. “It’s a series we have where the zombie universe is going to be coming into the Marvel universe. And there’s a new creative team for that. Prior, it was Robert Kirkman and Sean Phillips, and they were too busy, so Fred and Kev came on board. If you can’t quite remember, the overriding plot or premise of the original series was that almost all super-powered beings on Earth have become flesh-eating zombies after being infected by an alien virus.
If that doesn’t sound incredible to you than you need to get new ears. Or maybe just have them chewed off by a zombified Hulk…
